Crews spent several hours repairing a major water main break in Bethel Park that caused damage to a handful of homes Sunday. A fast-moving wall of water and mud gushed out of the ground and straight into Justin Lemley’s mother’s home around 11:30 a.m.

Several streets near Point State Park are closed due to a large water main break in Downtown Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Public Safety says the water main break took place near the intersection of Commonwealth Place and Liberty Avenue on Sunday evening.

Crews were on the scene of a major water main break in Bethel Park Sunday afternoon. Officials were called to the scene between Oneill Drive and Irishtown Road just after 12 p.m. Water could be seen along the roadway, trickling down into at least one person's yard.

Several roads in Downtown Pittsburgh are closed because of a large water main break. Pittsburgh Public Safety said the water main break happened at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Commonwealth Place. They said those roads are impassable. As a result, New Penn, New Liberty and Commonwealth Place are closed.

BETHEL PARK, Pa. — Crews are working to repair a water main break in Bethel Park that is causing damage to homes. “I was right down the street and when I got here, this was just a pool and it was running over there, going about 2.5 feet into my garage and the entire downstairs is flooded,” said Justin Lemley.

In the meantime, a boil water notice is issued for customers on West King Street, from Manatawny Street to Berks Street, West Chestnut Street, West Walnut Street, West Beech Street, Potts Court, Gable Avenue and Shoemaker Road from West King Street to Route 100.
