A Connecticut mansion was torn up in flames after residents fried a turkey on Thanksgiving day, officials said. The fire began in the garage, where the turkey was being fried for 25 people who were at the estimated $2.

Although 25 people were home at the time of the blaze, Weston firefighters said no injuries were reported. The $4M+ home is a total loss.

The house — which features 11 bedrooms and 9.5 baths, per online listing data — has since been deemed "uninhabitable," the local fire department said.

The Weston Fire Department responded to the fire on Thanksgiving around 3:40 p.m. They said the callers initially described the incident as a garage fire. By the time firefighters arrived, they said the fire had rapidly extended to the home.
