We were expecting VPN by Google support for the Pixel Tablet to arrive with a Drop next year, but it's quietly gone live already.

VPN by Google was suddenly made available to the Pixel Tablet sometime in November. While Google has yet to update its official support document, you can get it on your Pixel Tablet running stable Android 15 directly from the Play Store.

Google has finally rolled out its VPN service to the Pixel Tablet. If you’re on stable Android 15, you can now download it and enjoy an extra layer of security.

Up until now, VPN by Google, was available exclusively for Google Pixels 7 or later, but that might be changing. With the upcoming release of Android 15 QPR2, VPN by Google will likely be available for the Pixel Tablet. Users have reported being able to use the VPN thanks to the Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1 update

When VPN by Google rolled out to older Pixel phones in June, the Pixel Tablet was excluded, though that might be changing.
