Prosecutors in the ongoing case against Sean “Diddy” Combs are citing his alleged “witness tampering” behind bars, “threatening” and punching his personal staff and more among the reasons to deny him bail.

In this latest letter to the judge, which was obtained by PEOPLE, prosecutors lay out the severity of the charges Combs is facing and claim that the Bad Boy Records founder has abused and threatened women over the years, citing one incident where he allegedly showed up to a woman’s house and tried to beat her door down with a hammer.

Combs’ lawyers said his pretrial speech should be evaluated based on the standard used in Trump's criminal case.
