A young woman confronted riot police in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, as part of protests against the decision of the Georgian Dream party to put EU accession talks on hold.

Protesters used fireworks against riot police in Tbilisi, Georgia, late on Saturday (30 November), during a third night of demonstrations against the government’s decision to suspend negotiations to join the European Union.

Large crowds of protesters took to the streets of Tbilisi, Georgia for the fourth night in a row, to demonstrate against the country’s decision to suspend EU membership talks. Clashes between demonstrators and police also took place earlier this year.
