LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman is considering leaving the United States after Republican nominee Donald Trump defeated his Democrat rival Kamala Harris in the November 5 presidential election, reports say.

In a matter of weeks, LinkedIn cofounder and Democratic Party super-donor Reid Hoffman has gone from pouring at least $10 million into Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign to contemplating a U.S. exodus.

LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman is said to be thinking of leaving the U.S. after Donald Trump won the 2024 elections. His reason is political retaliation, which he fears, especially since he supported Kamala Harris and funded a lawsuit against Trump.

The court found Trump guilty of sexually abusing Carroll in 1996 and defaming her. She was given $5 million in damages. Later this year, another jury awarded Carroll an additional $83.3 million for defamation after Trump denied her rape allegations.

Hoffman has reportedly told friends that he is thinking of relocating overseas due to fears that Trump would seek retribution against his enemies.
