Offensive guard Michael Jordan cleared waivers and signed with the New England Patriots practice squad, per a news release from the team on Friday. The Patriots released Jordan earlier in the week after claiming guard Lester Cotton off waivers.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs will not play Sunday against the New England Patriots, Colts coach Shane Steichen announced Friday. Center Tanor Bortolini, right tackle Braden Smith and wide receiver Ashton Dulin were also ruled out.

Anthony Richardson has been through a bit of everything during his first two NFL seasons. He had his rookie year cut short after four games because of a shoulder injury last season. He dealt with a hip injury this season and then was benched for two games after he drew criticism for taking himself out of the game because of fatigue.
