The Pokémon Company International and stop-motion studio Aardman have revealed they’re working on a “special project” together. Few details were revealed bar the project will land in 2027 and that “the collaboration will see Aardman bringing their unique style of storytelling to the Pokémon universe in brand-new adventures.

Aardman Animation, the studio behind the Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, and Shaun the Sheep, and Chicken Run franchises, is working with The Pokémon Company International on a mysterious new project.
