A menacing Queens bus rider convicted of shooting a rookie NYPD cop after an altercation with a fellow passenger was sentenced to at least 39 years in prison on Monday as a courtroom filled with angry cops looked on.

Devin Spraggins was sentenced to 39 years to life for the 2023 shooting of NYPD Officer Brett Boller in Queens.

A Queens man was sentenced Monday to 39 years to life in prison for the attempted murder of an NYPD officer from Hauppauge, according to the Queens district attorney. Boller was shot in the leg in 2023 while responding to a fight on a bus in Queens. The officer was just three months on the job.
