A lake-effect storm in the Great Lakes region was expected to bring several feet of snow in areas of Michigan, Northern New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania through the weekend, disrupting travel after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Thanksgiving was filled with quality time, football games, and rounds of food with an extra side of messy weather. The quick-moving storm turned nor’easter, due to it’s storm track, brought more needed rain across Southern and Coastal New England,

Winter storm warnings are in effect from eastern New York through central and northern New England, with over a foot of fresh snow possible, forecasters said.
