UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed in what appears to be a targeted attack Wednesday morning outside a Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan, according to the New York City Police Department.

A gunman, who investigators say waiting for some time before Brian Thompson’s arrival at the hotel, opened fire from 20 feet away firing multiple times.
