Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham has shared her idea for a spin-off TV show, suggesting a jump back in time to when Lorelai Gilmore first arrived in Stars Hollow as a teenager.

Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilamore on the hit show, then pitched the one spinoff idea she felt could work. “You could do the high school Lorelai,” she said, suggesting that the plot goes backwards in time.

Gilmore Girls actors Lauren Graham and Scott Peterson have reunited on screen for a brand-new festive project. The duo have reprised their roles of Lorelai Gilmore and Luke Danes, who got married in the Netflix miniseries A Year in the Life, for Walmart's Christmas advert in the US.

Lauren Graham reprised her role as Lorelai Gilmore in the short ad, rushing into Luke’s Diner in search of “coffee, coffee, coffee!” And while the ad was geared toward a Keurig coffee machine, which Luke (played by Scott Patterson) aptly gifts a caffeine-obsessed Lorelai Gilmore, we couldn’t help but eye the star’s winter-ready fashion.
