Colts WR Josh Downs ruled out for Week 13 game vs Patriots
The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out wide receiver Josh Downs for Sunday's Week 13 matchup with New England. Unfortunately, this was the expected outcome. Downs would suffer a shoulder injury against Detroit.
Colts rule out WR Josh Downs, 2 starting offensive linemen for Patriots game
Center Tanor Bortolini, right tackle Braden Smith and wide receiver Ashton Dulin were also ruled out. All four players did not practice this week. Steichen also said left tackle Bernhard Raimann will return after missing two games with a left knee injury.
Josh Downs, Ashton Dulin among those ruled out for Colts-Patriots
Head coach Shane Steichen said in his press conference that receiver Josh Downs, receiver Ashton Dulin, center Tanor Bortolini, and right tackle Braden Smith have all been ruled out for Week 13. Downs is dealing with a shoulder injury, Dulin has an ankle injury, and Bortolini has a concussion. Smith is dealing with a personal matter.

With Downs and Ashton Dulin (ankle) both out, Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce and Adonai Mitchell are in line to lead the Colts' Week 13 wideout corps. With the team on bye in Week 14, Downs' next chance to see game action will arrive Dec.
